設定ファイルを編集し 1024 x 768 表示できるようにする。

GNOME へ root でログインする。
[GNOME 端末] をクリックする
必要ファイルのコピー
# cp /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.default
ユーティリティの実行（質問項目、入力行以外の文字は省略しています。オレンジ色 が入力する項目 灰色 は注釈です。）
# /usr/bin/X11/xf86config

以上で設定終了。設定が終わったら再起動。
再起動後に root でログインし
[アプリケーション] > [デスクトップの設定] > [画面の解像度]
を選択し、好みの解像度に設定する。
